Born in Okinawa, Japan because his father was in the US Air Force, James was raised in Maryland (the small state next to Virginia and Washington, DC), but relocated to Texas a few years ago to get married. He's a graduate of the University of Maryland with a bachelor's in African American Studies, and is currently pursuing a master's in theological studies at the George W. Truett Theological Seminary of Baylor University in Waco, TX. James is responsible for our youth group of middle/high school students.
