UMME

UMME stands for United Methodist Motorcycle Enthusiasts!  UMME are motorcycle riders who have formed chapters within their home church, to promote the fellowship of Christians through a common interest. UMME gives Christian riders a fellowship and safe riding experience to share with those who may not feel comfortable in a traditional church setting.

Each month our Foundation UMME Chapter rides as a group on short rides around Central Texas.  We occasionally brave an overnight/weekend trip and look for exciting opportunities to share our faith.  Each year, we participate in the Annual UMME Rally, hosted by a different Chapter and location each year.  The Foundation UMME Chapter is also proud to sponsor the annual Thanksgiving Basket Food Run, which raises canned goods and monetary donations to help support the Fort Hood Food Pantry during the holiday season.

You don't have to own a bike or even ride to participate with this group.  We invite anyone who is interested to hop on as a passenger, or follow along in a car.  Our rides are always adventures and include food somewhere off the beaten trail!  The UMME group typically rides the 2nd Saturday of each month.  Check the church calendar for times and date, or contact Kenny Saulsbury for details the week before the ride each month.

The United Methodist Motorcycle Enthusiasts National Chapter

UMME National was formed and acts much like a hub of a wagon wheel.  With its chapters as the spokes and main support.  Through its chapters and members UMME reaches out to others as we have fun while rolling along.  We ask you and others to use this as an invitation to meet us for fellowship and fun.
